Vintage Design
Chair designed by Ligna in the style of Thonet, circa 1940. Manufactured in Czechoslovakia. This piece has an attribution mark such as a manufacturer’s label. The design of this bentwood armchair dates from 1900. This chair was a favorite of many famous architects/designers like Le Corbusier. In good original condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina. The rattan webbing of this chair has entirely been renewed.
