19th Century French Louis XVI Table Clock in Ormolu Bronze With Sevres Porcelain

A breathtaking beautiful French Louis XVI table clock. Made in French around 1855-1860 in ormolu bronze .
This is a very special clock, it is decorated with Sevres porcelain painted plaques. The Sevres plaques are made in beautiful bright colours as blue, white and other pastel colours.
At the front we find a Sevres porcelain dial with Roman numerals. The dial is decorated with a putty with a blanket between its legs. The putty has flowers in its hands and one of the hands is holding a laurel wreath. Under the dial we find a plaque with one putty on each side and in the middle a portrait of a woman. At the sides we find Sevres plaques with flowers. At the top of the sides we find a lion head at each side. The bronze of this clock is made very nice.
On top of the clock we find a beautiful Sevres goblet with a bronze lid and bronze hands.

The movement is an 8-day movement, it strikes every half and whole hour. It is stamped by Japy Freres et cie. Grande Medaille d’honneur 1855. This was a famous movement factory in France in the 19th century.

The movement is protected by a door, the original door. The clock stands on the original wooden console with the original gilding and the original Bordeaux red colour. This console is not included in the price, it is a present from me.

The clock is in beautiful working condition. It has been cleaned , the movement has been cleaned , checked and oiled by a professional clockmaker.

The measurements of this beautiful clock are about:
CM:37 cm high including console x 18 cm wide x 11 cm deep. The height of the clock without console is 33 cm high.
INCH: 14.5 inch high x 7 inch wide x 4 inch deep. The height of the clock without console is 13 inch.

This clock will be packed very well and send including tracking and insurance.
