Early 20th century cast brass sconces, a pair. The backplates are from around the 1020’s, and the arms and bobeches were cast in the 1990’s, from traditional molds. The backplate is delicate and ornate, with flowers and swirled leaves. Metal in great condition, with some old patina. Rewired for US hardwired 110-120V. These backplates are very narrow, only 3″ wide and will need to be mounted on a wooden or metal plate to cover the electrical box.
