Vintage Design
An exceptional pair of moustache back club chairs. Generous cigar arms with deep seats over stuffed scroll backs. Upholstered in a beautiful thick chestnut leather and raised on oak block feet. Fully restored with new webbing and springs replaced where necessary. The oak frames are strong and the arms have been strengthened with new bolts to the original frames. The leather has been cleaned and conditioned to highlight its original rich colour. Both chairs have plush new seat cushions in a dark navy blue velvet with additional detailed piping. The price is for the pair. France, circa 1930.
