Vintage Design
A set of six dining chairs designed in 1955 by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold. These MK175 chairs have tapered round back posts which support a gently curved back rest. The design in very similar to the Niels Møller Model 77 that appeared a few years later. The design incorporates the distinctive concave seat pattern that is typical of Hovand-Olsen’s other chair designs for Mogens Kold.
The seats have been re-upholstered with new fire-retardant foam and black vinyl to match the original upholstery. They could also be re-covered in a fabric of your choice for just the cost of the material. The frames are in very good original condition and have been gently cleaned and re-oiled.
Approx. dimensions (cm): 77h x 48.5w x 50d seat height 45
