Description

Here is a gorgeous, large ginger jar with the iconic tobacco leaf pattern originating in 18th century China. The piece is made from porcelain painted in pinks, greens, blues with touches of orange and lots of shimmering gold details. I love the way the gold catches the light! There is a delightful phoenix bird on a leaf and floral borders around the base and lid. Attributed to Mottahedeh.
