An exhibition quality 19th Century free standing French ebonised marquetry & ormolu card table crossbanded in Kingwood, the shaped top with ormolu decoration on the edge, profusely inlaid with floral marquetry on the top, the centre of the top inlaid with a basket of flowers, below is a nicely shaped frieze with ormolu decoration and floral marquetry, the top opens up to reveal a baize lined playing surface with an inlaid border, the table stands on four cabriole legs with lovely quality ormolu mounts. Circa 1870.
