A stunning and extremely elegant French 19th century Louis XVI st. Belle Époque period mahogany, ormolu and Campan Rouge marble buffet, attributed to Maison Krieger. The four door, three drawer buffet is raised by fine circular tapered feet with graceful fluted wrap around ormolu bands. Above an elegant mottled ormolu band are two central glass doors with fine ormolu keyhole escutcheons which open to reveal one glass shelf and their original hardware. At each side are two additional doors each separated by beautiful pierced floral garlands and stunning richly chased baskets with intricately detailed blooming flowers and charming tied ribbons set on recessed panels. Each door opens to reveal one shelf and their original hardware. The elegantly curved sides showcase the beautiful warm Mahogany grain. Above are three drawers each richly decorated with striking scrolled rinceaux designed floral garlands with a central keyhole escutcheon of charming cherubs playing trumpets at the central drawer and tied ribbons keyhole escutcheons at the outer drawers. Above is the original Campan Rouge marble top with an fine mottled border.
