Vintage Design
Antique Neapolitan Louis Philippe Secretaires belonging to the first half of the 19th century. The front is characterized at the top by an under-top drawer highlighted by the presence of a keyhole and a hinged door below containing a series of drawers and secret compartments. Below the face door are two drawers highlighted again by a round wooden spout and another drawer encased in the base. The two fluted cantons finish with finely carved elements in a leaf motif. The interior is made of maple wood typical of Neapolitan cabinet-making culture. Provenance: 19th-century Naples. Measurements: 107×49 H164cm. Condition: Restored by our master craftsmen with traditional handmade shellac and alcohol method. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
