Mid-Century Chairs and Coffee Table in Rattan, Wicker and Iron, Italy, 1960s

Spectacular French Riviera style set that includes two twin “shell” chairs and a coffee table all made in hand-woven wicker, rattan and enameled black iron. This lovely set was produced in Italy during the 1950s. The chairs feature a round basket seat in hand-woven wicker and curved rattan which is supported by wonderful structure in black enameled bent iron. The coffee table follows the same design, with a round top in woven wicker and rattan and a round base in curved and bent metal. The perfect proportions, the sinuous lines and the amazing conditions make this set incredibly charming. This set is a marvelous example of midcentury lines both for the legs and the seat, that will enrich a living room with its superb presence.
