This is a pair of gilt bronze candle holders. Each one of them depicts a cherub figure who is playing an instrument in front of a bay leaves tree. One is playing the violin and the other one the flute. From one of the bay leaves branches come out the candle holder that is adorned also with leaves. They stand over a square shaped alabaster bases supported by four lion paws.
