Interesting and unusual miniature Bauhaus 3-leg stool, possibly a salesman’s sample or maquette.
Round seat is black lacquered turned wood ~7.5 inches diameter by 1 inch thick.
Three curved arc legs on ball feet with tripod stretcher stand 12 inches high.
Made of a hefty solid square bar non-magnetic metal, possibly nickel plated brass.
Too heavy to be aluminum.
See last image of inside countersunk hole where flathead brass wood screw has been removed.
Non-determinative, therefore we have not attempted to polish the metal.
From the estate of Corey Warn and Mark Feldman of Antiquers III, Brookline, MA.
